Summer is HERE and my boys and I are kicking it off by heading to the Wit Hotel tomorrow to welcome the crazy big-eyed minions of Despicable Me to our fair city!

  They along with their soft-hearted, fearless leader "Gru", are in to town as part of a national tour promoting the new "Minion Mayhem" attraction at Universal Studios Orlando.  Here they are this AM, somewhere in the Windy City.




Despicable Me is one of those ageless animated flicks that we ALL love and choose to watch over, and over, and over.  So even though my boys are a bit older now, they are all good with going down and hanging with the minions tomorrow.  Those little yellow dudes are just that cool.

I will be shooting video and chatting with the peeps from Universal Studios to find out all about the amazing things they've got going on this year at the park.

So check back on Wed. to see what kind of mayhem ensures while the minions are in town. How can you not adore those little buggers??

I for one LOVE me some Orlando.  My fam. and I go pretty much every spring break now, and I SO owe my dues a trip to Universal Studios to see the Harry Potter attraction. ( I know, I should have already done that.)  Anyone else planning a trip down this year?

If you live in Chicago, keep your eyes peeled for the minions over the next two days.  They will surely be up to no good.
